Tiago studied at a public elementary school in his hometown. In 1993, he moved to Passo Fundo to attend Integrated High School at Fundação Universidade de Passo Fundo. He then entered the Higher Education course at UPF / RS, where he attended the Faculty of Social Communication – Radialismo. As a final course work he researched – The Rural Communication of Emater Passo Fundo / RS in two government administrations. Soon after graduating, he entered the postgraduate course where he studied, specializing in Strategic Marketing Management. He researched and defended the scientific article with the theme: Institutional Communication of the University of Passo Fundo / RS. He studied at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul / RS, at the Faculty of Social Communication – Public Relations. He defended Organizational Communication as the Final Course Work, where he had the opportunity to participate in International Academic Exchange in this area, in Portugal.

He studied the Master in Social Communication at PUC / RS, completed in 2010 – where he researched and defended the dissertation “Communication and international negotiations: the profile of the communication manager from Rio Grande do Sul”. In the same period, he moved to Portugal to pursue a PhD in Communication Sciences at the University of Beira Interior-Covilhã/PT with the research theme “Organizational Communication: Comparative analysis of the management model and the role of the communication manager in companies Portuguese/Brazilian”. At the same institution, he was a professor at the undergraduate and master’s in Strategic Communication. Returning to Brazil in 2015, he was a professor and coordinator of the Experimental Public Relations Agency at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul. In 2016, he held a competitive examination for professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria/RS Campus de Frederico Westphalen, where he ended his journey as a professor , in 2017. As the search for knowledge expansion has always been present in his life, he conducts courses in: Personal and Executive Coaching; Coaching takes off, Master Coaching, Sports Coaching. With the return to Brazil, there is also a re-encounter with historical roots, bringing to light the recovery and reflection on experiences lived in the context of origin, with a strong connection with academic and professional learning in the area of ​​social communication.

Tiago Born and lived his childhood and adolescence in Tapera/RS, a city in the interior of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, a period marked by his constant contact with the sports universe. From an early age, attending indoor and field soccer schools and being the son of parents who are Physical Education teachers and team coaches, (father of indoor soccer, field soccer and handball) and (handball mother) followed training directly, games, competitions and all the movements to be able to guarantee the necessary conditions, so that the sport could actually be a reality. Certainly, it was from these experiences that the curiosity and passion for sports was born, which prompted him to experience various sports such as karate, judo, full contact, bjj, Jiu-jitsu, capoeira, swimming, , squash, cycling, climbing in mountain autonomy, street running, chess, indoor soccer, field soccer without focusing on being a high-performance athlete. Based on the view that what people think, do, perceive or feel are much more than words, and motivated by the re-encounter with his sports-related history, Tiago seeks to improve his knowledge in courses such as: Training in Sports Coaching , which thus reaffirms his desire to return to sport now professionally as a mental trainer for athletes, based on the personal and collective management of reflective communication. He had the opportunity to attend THE INNER GAME SCHOOL, with Timothy Gallwey, creator of Coaching in the world, becoming a facilitator of this School.

He also performed at Academia do Athlete Champion Training as a mental trainer of athletes from the weekly mentorships of the Athlete Mental Coaches group. To gather information and establish dialogues in a broad way with professionals from Sports and other areas, he participated in: Base Internship for Futsal coaches in Cabo Frio/RJ; Futsal Clinic in Três Coroas/RS; Sports Psychology Course; Innovative Management Course in Futsal do Lavoisier-ACBF; L. Felipe Ximenes Football Manager Course. He also participated as a listener on all WEBINARS of CBFAcademy-Social. Since making the decision, it has been acting based on life experiences, academic training, professional performance in the area of ​​communication and training directly focused on sport, specifically as Sports Coaching with athletes of different ages (children, young people and adults) and modalities , such as JUDO, DUATLO, MMA, FUTSAL, FIELD FOOTBALL, CYCLING in a wide universe of athletes, with great results. Has been conducting a lecturethose about or about sports coaching, for different audiences: Elementary and High School students and teachers; Grassroots Soccer Coaches; Goalkeeper Coaches; Sports Managers; Live with Athletes and Ex-athletes. All work carried out is based on individual experiences endorsed in the context where they happen with a methodology supported by – Self-confidence – Awareness – Reflection – Decision-making – Action and Results.

Whenever the work is with child athletes, a constant dialogue with the parents is essential. Consultancy and Advice for sports teams and clubs; Lectures, online and in-person courses, conferences, for different audiences linked to the area; Mental training of athletes of different ages and individual/group sports (including Athletes in transition at the end of their career – Athletes with low vision and visual impairment – Deaf Athletes); Provision of services and sports management for football clubs, futsal and other sports in a home office or in loco.
